ILO-International Logic Olympiad | Where Global Minds Compete in Logic

International Logic Olympiad (ILO) Canada | Official Regional Partner (Canada) | CanSTEM Education

CanSTEM Education Private School is Official Regional Representative & Testing Center for entire Canada

What is CanSTEM’s role in the ILO exam process?

CanSTEM Education Private School is the Official Regional Representative for the entire region of Canada, and the host for the preliminary round of International Logic Olympiad (ILO) for students across Canada.

We help students prepare for the global Math contest focused on logic and clear thinking and solving puzzle-style questions using step-by-step reasoning. Students who qualify in the preliminary round will attend the final round at Stanford University, USA.

  • Junior + Senior divisions - placement and pacing support.
  • Contest-style reasoning - logic grids, sets, patterns, multi-step solutions.
  • Mock exams + timing - so test day feels familiar and calm.
  • Finals opportunity - qualifiers may attend finals at Stanford University, USA.
The International Logic Olympiad started in 2024 as a partnership between Stanford University and Luminas, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Just like math and language, logic exists in the foundational fabric of society and is utilized perhaps even more so. However, logic is still severely underrepresented in modern education. Due to this gap, we started the ILO to highlight the importance of logical reasoning and problem-solving.

The International Logic Olympiad is the leading logic competition hosted annually in partnership with Stanford University to promote and internationalize logic education. Offering high school students worldwide a chance to showcase excellence in logic and problem-solving, The ILO culminates in an on-campus final round at Stanford University during the summer of 2025.
Luminas is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing experiential learning opportunities to students worldwide.

Our mission is create transformative experiences where students can showcase their unique skills and brilliant minds on the global stage.

Through promoting leadership, problem-solving, and collaboration, Luminas ensures that students from all backgrounds have equal access to educational opportunities based on their merits.
