Course Description For English, Grade 11, College (ENG3C)

This course focuses on developing essential literacy, communication, and critical and creative thinking skills for success in both academic and daily life. Students will explore various informational and graphic texts, alongside literary works from Canada and other countries. They will also create oral, written, and media texts in different formats for practical and academic purposes. A key emphasis is on using language with precision and clarity. Ultimately, this course prepares students for the mandatory Grade 12 college preparation course.
